On Monday, February 7 of 2011, the country duo of Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt will be performing at the Historic State Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lyle Lovett Active has been in the American music industry since 1980. He has recorded thirteen albums and released 21 singles to date, including his highest entry, the #10 chart hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, "Cowboy Man". Lovett has won four Grammy Awards, including Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Album. It's Not Big It's Large was released in 2007, where it debuted and peaked at #2 on the Top Country Albums chart. A new studio album, Natural Forces, was released on October 20, 2009 by Lost Highway Records.
Lyle Lovett has recorded hit country songs that include "God Will", "Give Back My Heart", "She's No Lady", "Cowboy Man", and "If I Were The Man You Wanted." He hails from Klein, Texas and has acted in over 20 television shows or movies. Lovett attended Texas A&M University, where he studied German and journalism. John Hiatt is an rock guitarist, pianist, singer, and songwriter. He has played a variety of musical styles on his albums, including New Wave, blues and country. Hiatt has been nominated for several Grammy Awards, although he has never won, and has been awarded a variety of other distinctions in the music industry. He remains one of the most respected and influential American singer-songwriters.
