In 1978, Cheech and Chong released their first feature-length movie, Up In Smoke, that became a cult classic and enough success to warrant a few sequels. Cheech & Chong's Next Movie and Nice Dreams were released within the following three years. Along with movies, Cheech and Chong have also released comedy-based albums. After writing a parody of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A" called "Born in East L.A," Cheech later went on to play a starring role in a movie based off of the album. This separated Cheech and Chong, putting a damper on their relationship.
Over a decade later, the comedic duo was finally reunited for the film "Cheech and Chong Light up America/Canada," based on this reunion and past comedy tours. The two have been releasing videos, going on the road for multiple tours and will even host the WWE Monday Night Raw.
Cheech and Chong is a hysterical pair with a lot of passion in what they do. If you are interested in a side-splitting show with a lot of character, Cheech and Chong tickets are right for you. Check out Cheech and Chong at the Historic State Theatre this coming March and you won't be disappointed.
