Looking for a night filled with laughs? Then Margaret Cho is just what you're looking for. Cho is an American comedian who is also a fashion designer, actress, author, and recording artist. To say that Margaret Cho is active is an understatement. Cho concentrates her stand-up on social and political issues, specifically those on race, sexuality, and sex.

Margaret Cho was raised in San Francisco, California by a Korean family. At a young age she developed a passion for comedy and making people laugh. After starting at small clubs and universities, Cho made some appearances on television. Eventually Cho would be opening for famous comedian Jerry Seinfeld and was featured on a Bob Hope special. In 1994, Cho won the American Comedy Award for Best Female Comedian.

In 1994 Margaret Cho got her own show on ABC based off of her stand-up titled All American Girl. After the show was cancelled, she wrote a book in 1999 titled I'm the One That I Want, documenting her life story. Since 2000, she has appeared in numerous television shows and movies while performing her stand-up routines.

In 2008, Cho was given her own show on VH1 titled The Cho Show that follows Cho as she interacts with family and friends. Cho's comedy materials covers anything from substance abuse, easting disorders, sexuality, and Asian-American stereotypes.
