Phoenix tickets!
Looking for a night of stellar rock music? Phoenix will be performing at the Historic State Theater this coming August! Phoenix is a Grammy Award winning and chart-topping alternative rock band out of France, finding huge success all over the world.

Originally out of Paris, France, Phoenix was founded by a group of friends looking to make their mark on the music industry. With Thomas Mars on vocals, Deck D'Arcy as the bassist and Christian Mazzalai as guitarist, a garage band was born in the Parisian suburbs. Something, however, was missing until fourth member Laurent Brancowitz joined on to the crew in 1995. Laurent had joined on with Pheonix after leaving a short-lived stint with the soon-to-be Daft Punk members.

Phoenix began touring in random bars that dotted the French scene and did mainly covers of popular songs. A couple of years later, Phoenix was signed on the Paris-based Source Record label which scored them multiple TV appearances in the U.K. In 2000, Phoenix debuted their United album after their two singles found popular interest. Phoenix later released their second album, Alphabet, which brought them to a mainstream success, and would release their third, It's Never Been Like That, within the next two years after.

After three years of soaking in the success of their albums and promoting them, Phoenix returned to the recording studio to create their album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix in 2009. These songs have since been used in trailers for Where the Wild Things Are and Valentine's Day. To experience the incredible music of Phoenix at the Historic State Theatre, buy your Phoenix tickets today!
